What are the Best Potatoes for Cooking?
That all depends on what you’re making.

If you’re making fries or stuffed potatoes, we like russet/Idaho potatoes, because they have a high starch content and are firmer.
For mashed potatoes, Yukon gold is king. They’re creamy and have a buttery flavor.
Finally, if you’re making a sweet potato recipe, then of course, choose a sweet potato.
