SAVORY SPICED NUTS
There’s nothing like the flavor and texture of roasted nuts.
When they’re roasted, the moisture is removed and they become super crunchy.
Furthermore, when you add spices, they just get better.
And, in case you’re worried that roasting will reduce their nutritional value, don’t.
Roasted nuts are just as nutritious as raw nuts.
So, grab a handful of healthy spiced nuts and enjoy!
HOW TO MAKE SPICY ROASTED CASHEWS
STEP ONE
Stir the 3 cups of raw cashews, 1 tablespoon of extra-virgin olive oil, and the spice blend together until the nuts are coated in the spices.
STEP TWO
Spread the nuts evenly on a rimmed baking sheet and roast for 5 minutes. Shake the pan and roast for another 3 to 5 minutes.
The type of oven you use (convection or conventional) will determine how long it takes to roast the cashews.
They’re done when they’re golden brown and crunchy.
HOW TO MAKE SMOKY ROASTED CASHEWS
STEP ONE
Stir the cashews, liquid smoke, and salt and pepper until the nuts are fully coated.

Hey, steps 6 and 7 confuse me. In 6 it says to stir all ingredients together. In 7 it says to evenly spread out the cashews then pour the liquid smoke mixture over the cashews. Am I misinterpreting? Thank you.
Linda & Alex says
Hi Darlene! I can totally see how that would be confusing and I'll make edits asap. It should state to pour any leftover liquid smoke mixture that's left in the bowl of the nuts in the pan.
Hope this helps!
