You can literally taste the warmth of Summer in this smoothie. It's creamy, perfectly sweet, and radiates warmth through the cinnamon and nutmeg! So dive into this guilt-free version of a peach cobbler!
During summer shred (that's what people are doing right now right?) it's hard to not crave comfort food, salt, fat, and most importantly... desserts! Before my most recent craving, I would've done anything for chocolate, which is where our delicious guilt-free dessert brownie hummus came from. But now I've moved onto another dessert... peach cobbler.
I distinctly remember running around in the Summer and coming in for dinner to the smell of peach cobbler in the oven. What an incredible way to end the day! So as summer inches closer (at a snails' pace) I can't help but reminisce and start to crave those classic summer recipes. However, because I'm trying to be as healthy as possible, I'm required to reinvent those same waist line-increasing recipes to something I can incorporate into my everyday meal plan!
This peach cobbler smoothie has all of those amazing spices, peaches, and flavorful oats that you would get in the classic dish but isn't loaded with butter, processed sugar, or refined flours. It's also way easier to make than the classic dish. So go ahead and "indulge" in this healthy peach-cobbler!
HOW TO MAKE A GUILT-FREE PEACH COBBLER SMOOTHIE
First - Take some frozen peaches and a banana out of your freezer.
Second - Put them in your blender with some water, some oat milk and warm and savory spices.
Third - Blend the ingredients up into a smooth and creamy dessert smoothie.
Three easy steps and you'll have a refreshing summer breakfast or snack that will satisfy all of your dessert cravings. Make one and let us know what you think, and don't forget to take a picture of your delicious creation and tag us @veganosity on Instagram so we can see it.
