Equipment

  • 1 saucepan

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups tomato sauce
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoon molasses
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cumin
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions

  • Put all of the ingredients in a small saucepan and whisk until completely combined. Bring the sauce to a boil, then reduce to a low simmer and simmer for 20 minutes.

Notes

How do you store it?
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. A mason jar works well.
How long will it last?
This will stay fresh in the refrigerator for up to 10 days.
