Preheat the oven to 400 °F (204C)
Put the apple slices, ⅓ cup orange juice, 3 tablespoon brown sugar, 1 tablespoon cinnamon, and 1 teaspoon nutmeg in a large pot and stir to combine the ingredients. The apples should be coated with the sugar and spices.
Bring the juice in the apples to a boil on medium-high heat and reduce to simmer. Cook for approximately 20 minutes or until the apples are fork tender. Stir occasionally while cooking.
While the apples are cooking put the 1 cup walnuts in a medium bowl and coat with the 2 teaspoon maple syrup and ¼ teaspoon cinnamon.
Brush the 3 tablespoon melted butter over the entire pizza crust then evenly spread the vegan cream cheese over the crust, leaving a one-inch border.
Evenly layer the apples over the cream cheese, then evenly sprinkle the walnuts over the apples. Bake for approximately 7 minutes, or until the walnuts are toasted.
Serve with a scoop of vegan vanilla ice cream.
