  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1/4 cup raw cocoa powder
  • ¼ cup coconut milk canned full fat works best, add the thick solid part, not the watery milk.
  • 2 to 4 medjool dates pitted and soaked in water until they’re soft
  • 3 tbsp pure maple syrup add more if you like it sweeter
  • 3 tbsp espresso coffee brewed not the grounds.Leave it out if you're a strict raw food vegan or don't consume caffeine.
  • 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp sea salt optional
  • Vegan whipped topping
  • Coconut flakes
  • Chocolate shavings

  1. Cut the avocados in half and remove the pits. Scoop the avocado flesh into a high-powered blender or a food processor. Add the 1/4 cup cocoa powder, ¼ cup coconut milk, the soaked medjool dates, 3 tbsp maple syrup, 3 tbsp espresso, ½ tsp vanilla extract, ¼ tsp cinnamon, and 1/8 tsp salt and process until there are no visible pieces of avocado or dates. It should be whipped to a thick and creamy texture.

  2. Top with your favorite topping if desired.
