What better way to show your vegan love than with an adorable vegan shirt! Vegan Police, makes adorable shirts that express what it means to be vegan. You’ll find printed shirts with phrases like “I don’t eat pals” and “be nice, go vegan”.
Heather, an artist and vegan, is the founder of this awesome company. She got into the tee-shirt business because, “I’ve been drawing and painting all of my life and got into veganism in my late teens.”. Then, about five years ago she learned how to screen print, “it felt like the obvious thing, that I should combine my two passions,” Heather said. Her artistic skills are clearly represented in her work.
We’re so happy to be able to give this tee to one of our awesome readers! And, we’re so thankful to our new vegan friend, Heather, for her generosity. Wear this adorable shirt with a pair of skinny jeans and a cute blazer, or a faux- leather jacket.
As her shirts aren’t like normal shirts, sporting vegan promoting features, I wondered what message she ultimately wants to promote through her fashion. “My dream would be that someone, somewhere sees one of my shirts and it causes them to make a change toward a more compassionate lifestyle”. We couldn’t agree more with Heather. Promoting a caring lifestyle is our ultimate goals and as vegans it’s important to try to promote a good image and example. By wearing a thought provoking shirt it may cause someone to sit back and question their eating choices and lifestyle. Maybe it will even prompt them to ask vegans questions about our lifestyle and give us a chance to let them know, it’s easier than they think. Although, this would be the ultimate goal of Heather, and most vegans, she also admits that “Of course, I just love the fact that a whole bunch of really hot vegans are out there wearing my shirts!” [we are a pretty good looking group : ) ]
For those of you who can’t make a decision on which awesome shirt to purchase, her suggestion is her absolute favorite item, the “I don’t eat pals” shirt (especially for kids). She loves the childrens wear because it reminds her of her little boy “go little vegans” she says! I hope you guys love Heather just as much as we do. Remember, you can visit her shop on Etsy (Vegan Police).
