This spring the arm candy trend is continuing full speed ahead. Everyday I’m seeing more and more women rock the arm candy look, stacking bracelet, watches, and wraps together to make a most gloriously glittery mess. Needless to say, I’m in love with this look. Layering delicate pieces of jewelry to make one big fashion statement is a genius idea, and not only does it look amazing, but you can really personalize it to show everyone who you are through your jewelry. For example, I really like to combine my favorite timepiece with my favorite spiritually significant wrap bracelet along with my infinity bracelet my boyfriend gave me. You can do the same thing too! Here are some examples of what you can do with this awesome trend to transition it into spring.
My first look is all from Kate Spade. I love her jewelry. It’s glittery, girly, and seriously fun. A lot of her bangles have cute sayings on them like “Hit Your Stride” and “Et Cetera, Et Cetera”. The key to this look is pairing different patterns and materials but connecting them with one commonality; gold. Using a velvet twisted teal bracelet along with the black and white stripe bangle creates dimension. Finish the arm candy look off with a gorgeous gold watch from one of my favorite designers. Thanks Kate!
The second arm candy look uses gold and a huge pop of color to make a lovely statement. Again, I like to mix and match patterns to create a more appealing look. This time I paired a simple white and gold Kate Spade bangle with a gold Kate Spade bow bangle to begin. Next, I added a chunky mint bangle for a pop of color. To finish it off, I added some geometric cut out bangles. Mix them in with the rest of the layers to make a seriously amazing look.
Instead of adding one pop of color, you can mix them! Again, it’s important when using different patterns, textures and colors to tie them in with a common feature. I used gold to connect all of these adorable pieces. A chunky white and green bangle is clearly the centerpiece of this collection. I like how it has a white backdrop to create something new, instead of the gold backs on the rest of the pieces. Next, pick two or three colors. Here I decided on green and blue. Using two of the same bangles, but in different colors (blue bangle & green bangle), I added the mix of color without being too messy. I finished it off with a Tory Burch plain gold bangle. Perfect!
My last collection includes on of my favorite pieces of jewelry I’ve found. This gold vegan wrap bracelet is truly one of a kind. Made out of wax cord and some sparkly white beading, this bracelet will make vegans and non-vegans swoon. Add an adorable monogram bangle and a pop of emerald green and you have a perfectly vegan wrist display.
