As I get further into becoming a healthy vegan, the more I realize that exercise is a key component. So, my new goal is to try a new workout once a week! This week’s was TRX. TRX, which has been out for a couple of years, uses your own body weight combined with suspension training to provide a deep workout for your muscles. All I have to say is, holy shit it works! About ten minutes into my first training session I had sweat dripping down my face and onto the ground, my heart rate was up, and my body felt like jello. It only gets harder from there. During my one hour I worked my core, biceps, triceps, hamstring (probably the most difficult) and my glutes.
After my hour-long TRX training session I walked out feeling like a million bucks, yes I thought my legs were going to fall off and once I sat down I was afraid I would never get up again, but I knew that because of that one workout I am one step closer to becoming a happy and healthy vegan! Remember, just take it one day at a time and you’ll reach your goal sooner than you think!
